A coalition of AI companies, Leading the Future (LTF), has launched a $100 million Super Political Action Committee (SuperPAC) to shape US technology policy and counter China's advancements in artificial intelligence. Backed by prominent investors like Andreessen Horowitz and OpenAI's Greg Brockman, the group aims to support pro-innovation candidates and oppose restrictive legislation.

LTF's bipartisan agenda focuses on maintaining US leadership in AI development, with plans to build political networks at federal and state levels. Collin McCune of a16z emphasized the urgency, stating AI is already driving economic growth and job creation—not science fiction. The initiative reflects growing institutional recognition of AI's geopolitical and financial significance.
